"Excellent accommodation and service. We had the honeymoon house ,which was interesting as it was our 34th wedding anniversary! My wife thought I had booked it purposely ,I didn't tell her it was the only room left!! It doesn't have the edginess of a bushcamp but the range of activities make up for it.
The breakfasts were superb, I thought the lunch where there was no choice could be improved by having simpler options presented on a buffet . Evening meals were very good though take a torch. I prefer not to be rotated round the various romantic options and outlooks for dinner ,missed the opportunity to socialise with other guests apart from the pre dinner drink round the fire.
Very good excursion to Vic Falls, the museum and local market. We only found out on our last day that historically there is some Jewish interest in LIvingstone (the facilities manager is an Israeli) it would have been useful to have known this in advance and organised a tour."

"Only had a night here. The room was fine ,in fact a huge suite ,clean and tidy ,lots of hot water.
Most people will stay there before the early flight out of Lusaka, they do an enormous breakfast which they leave for you overnight, it was so early we could hardly touch it. It would have been better if they would have asked what we wanted.
The reception staff disappeared in the evening and there was no one to carry our bags when we left The evening meal was very good but there was one other large table and they had to wait ages. Quick transfer to trhe airport"

We had limited expectations because we knew we were in the emarald season, however we saw lots including lions and leopard. 3 days is enough for game drives ,it was great that we could go on the river in the fast boat for a change .We really enjoyed that.
The accommodation was fine and the food was very good especially the lunches , which should be an example to other lodges"
