"Kwessi Dunes is a luxury camp with spectacular views across the desert landscape.

"Desert Rhino Camp is an excellent camp in the vast Palmwag concession.
The landscape is amazing but the real reason for going is to see the black rhino at close quarters. I had 3 separate sightings over 2 days, one of a rhino with a calf, and one at about 20 metres distance.
It is a great experience to approach these animals on foot, with a trained ranger and guide."

"Nsefu, staying for my second visit, is an excellent camp.
Well-located on the river and with amazing animal viewings by jeep as well as elephants outside the rooms!

"Big Lagoon Camp has an amazing aspect over-looking a lagoon. We saw buffalo, elephant, deer and much more just from the room.
We also saw a honey badger as well, an unusual and fascinating sighting.
Guiding was good, although the pace of walking a little fast at times, with fewer information stops, compared to other places we walked with guides."

"Mwaleshi, my second visit, is a superb walking camp. Very remote, in a lovely river setting, with just 4 rooms.
Led by Brent, a guide with tremendous knowledge on so many aspects : animals, birds, trees, flora and fauna, even stars etc!
Food is very good and the rooms very comfortable, bearing in mind where you are!
Excellent sightings : lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, wild dogs and much more."

I have travelled with Expert Africa before and Lucy Copson organised a most enjoyable safari for me to the North Park.
Her detailed local knowledge and grasp of the travel 'logistics' made all go very smoothly, thank you Lucy.
I haven't completed the detailed animal sightings sections, but just to say they were excellent : lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo, wild dog, various antelope etc etc!"
