"The setting of Mvuu Lodge on the river in the Liwonde National Park is magnificent. Wildlife seen from the lounge included hippo,
crocodile, baboons and monkeys, mongeese, impala, waterbuck and bushbuck. Also plentiful and colourful bird life. The option of viewing wildlife on boat safaris is a big bonus.
Rooms were beautiful and comfortable, food delicious and all staff incredibly helpful and attentive.
Special mention to our very knowledgable guide Chifondo for making our wildlife viewings on water, in the truck and on foot such a rewarding experience.
All in all highly recommended."

"We stayed 3 nights on this most beautiful and quiet retreat in Lake Malawi. Activities included walks on the small island, sundowners on a boat trip and a sunset kayak trip on which we saw a family of otters. Mainly however a chance to lie on the beach, read and snorkel in the lake.
Rooms are comfortable and spectacularly set on a rocky headland. Food was simple but tasty and ample. The absence of electricity makes the experience all the more memorable."

"A very personally tailored all-inclusive experience at this small luxury retreat 30 km down a dirt track into the wildlife reserve. Activities included a couple of guided walks in the reserve, a trip to a beautiful waterfall and a sundowner kayak trip on the river.
Staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms huge and very comfortable.
Not really the place for prolific wildlife viewings, although we did have an elephant in the camp one night. We did see crocodiles and some interesting bird life. Emanuel was a wonderfully informative and interesting guide on the walks in the reserve.
A really relaxing end to our trip."
