"The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable. We stayed in the First House (family chalet).

Food was amazing - light, healthy, fresh and delicious. Staff attentive. Hosts welcoming. Catherine and kitchen team were great. All the staff and team engaged with us.

Our guide Sly was amazing - best guide we have had in all 4 trips to Africa.

The Elephant hide sleep out was a once in a lifetime experience. Great game sightings and photographic opportunities."

"Great bush camp - close to nature, relaxed. More relaxed then Kaingo (different style). Rooms were comfortable. The outdoor loo and shower were good, no issues.

Being a smaller setup - it was more intimate and the other guests staying were like minded. That helps. The walk from Kaingo to Mwamba was great - must do.

Food delicious. Open bar.

Sitting by the camp fire after dinner was great too!

Often you need to stop and remember it's a holiday. Sometimes with all the timings and scheduling you forget this."

"Too many staff, didn't feel sincere, staff robotic, yawning, bored. We changed our guide on 2nd day.

This camp suits first time visitors to Africa - not for photographers or experienced safari travellers. The camp was very large, tents very luxurious and comfortable. We just didn't feel the vibe here. wished we had only stayed 3 nights and 5 nights at Old Mondoro.

The food was adequate - not great. Staying outside the NP was a waste of travel time each day. Too many elephants, impala and baboons in this part of the park.

We spent a day fishing - that was a good break from the jeep."

"The only reason we did not say it was excellent was our guide. We felt Seb was already retired. He had done "this" so many times. We had Mark (the host) take us out on "Dog Day" and the energy was great.

The important thing for the guides is to "bring it" with each guest. Seb didn't position the jeep for good photography, we felt he was disengaged and relied on the radio for sightings.

The location was amazing. The forest, haze, sunlight, game sightings was really 10/10. We have an amazing experience with a pack of wild dogs that the BBC were also filming - Mark - you are mental! We have the best pictures on "Dog Day"! Marks energy and passion shone through.

Madelaine was sincere and humble - the 2 hosts are a good fit. The food was great. Sitting by the camp fire and having night caps after dinner was the best. This was a relaxing camp - wished we had stayed 5-6 nights here. The drinks, refilled and flowing.

We felt very welcome here. The tents were luxurious too."
