We are glad that overall these clients enjoyed their safari, which was a combination of the Ngorongoro Crater, southern and central Serengeti. February is one of the most popular times of year to visit the southern Serengeti due to the presence of the wildebeest migration; as a result many of the camps and lodges become fully booked six month to a year in advance. This trip was booked in January for travel in February, and the availability was very limited. We secured two nights accommodation in these travellers preferred area, the southern Serengeti, however they then spent their final night in the central Serengeti which is known for its good wildlife throughout the year. The wildebeest migration can be very unpredictable and regularly changes location based on the recent rains; looking at the migration movements over the years you will often find that they will be in the central Serengeti when you would expect them to be in the Ndutu are and vice versa. We are sorry that they found the wildlife in the central Serengeti to not be as dense as in the southern Serengeti, however pleased that overall their safari was a success.
