"Our short stop in the Victoria Falls Hotel was a great start to our holiday, the hotel was just the tonic to get over our long flight out to Africa, with comfort, excellent food and service. The hotel was in an ideal situation just a short walk from the falls. The sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi which we booked before we went was great.
Please be advised that you cannot withdraw any cash from cash points or banks etc in Zimbabwe, so make sure that you have plenty on dollars prior to arrival."

"This was our first safari so we did not know what to expect, but this surpassed anything we had dreamt of. Poster our guide and James our tracker were first class and so knowledgeable and knew just where to go and see the wildlife,which was plentiful, we were also lucky enough to see wild dogs, brown hyenas, a civet, serval and leopard as well.
The staff were really friendly and efficient and looked after us well with great food. Our cabin/tent was perfect, roomy, very comfortable and blessed with a wonderful outlook over the lagoon where we could watch numerous different animals and birds. The whole experience was excellent, the time just passed too quickly."

"We had an excellent stay at Machaba, our tent was large, very comfortable with a great outlook over the river where we saw plenty of wildlife.
All the staff at the camp were friendly and efficient and one day brunch was set up for us all out in the bush which was great, and one night we had a bush bbq , everyone had gone to such a lot of trouble to make both occasions very memorable.
The game drives were very good too, our guide BD provided us with plenty of sightings of all manner of wildlife including following wild dogs at speed when they were on the move, it was amazing how he sensed which direction they were going.
The only slightly negative point regarding this camp was the number of vehicles which would be around at some of the less common sightings, this was something that we did not encounter at Lagoon or Gomoti, but inspite of this we still had a great stay."

"Another first class camp, with plenty of wildlife seen on our drives as well as from our very spacious & comfortable tent (on returning to our tent one night we surprised a hippo right up by the deck of our tent) The staff were very friendly and efficient and food was excellent. Mitre our guide was knowledgeable and showed us a great variety of animals and birds."
