"A very impressive and beautifully appointed series of small lodges ideally located on the banks of the Zambezi. Most of the staff beamed with pleasure almost continuously and the more senior managers (Lisanne and Sonia ) went out of their way to meet our every wish and at very short notice, including activities that were not normally undertaken (such as horse riding.) A wonderfull start to our brief Africa holiday for both of us.

However be warned that use of Mastercard incurs a 10% extra charge."

"Both waterborne and land animal and bird expeditions were well conducted by skilled staff who responed readily to customer requests.

Food was good if somewhat unimaginative (and the meat was usually over-cooked)"

"Although the initial reception in the HQ building lasted too long (because we were collected much earlier than necessary by the Rovos organised transport) the train journey was magnificent and we benefitted from an unexpected and most welcome upgrade to Luxury Suite.

The only adverse comment is that on several occasions meal and excursion timings were different to the printed itinerary and passengers were not sufficiently well alerted to these changes."
