"Very flexible and accommodating to our arrival and departure times and our full day itinerary.

Game was limited but it was a great introduction and much better than being in Nairobi as it felt like we were instantly on safari.

And we saw an Aardwolf!"

"The team went way beyond our expectations on accommodating the dietary requirements and the food was absolutely delicious for all of us.

Everybody was welcoming and friendly and seemed to be genuinely passionate about making our stay as good as it could be. The little extras are often what makes the difference and Kicheche seems to have thought of them all.

The conservancy itself was beautiful and Simon was always able to find us something to marvel at or a perfect quiet spot to eat and drink the latest goodies from the kitchen.

We would all go back in a heartbeat!"

"Firstly and most importantly our guide, George, was a real pleasure to spend three days with. His determination to make sure we saw everything the Mara could offer and his sense of humour made a big difference to our trip and his infectious laugh will stay with us for a long time.

We'd seen comments about the camp's lack of flexibility but this must be a thing of the past. Whatever we wanted to do and whenever we wanted to do it was fine with Alison and Tom."

"Having had such a great experience in the Mara and Laikipia I think we would have been better at a hotel nearer the airport with a nice pool to relax by (if such a thing exists?).

By that time Nairobi National park didn't really have the same appeal and the drive from Wilson airport and back to the international airport took a lot out of the day. Obviously this isn't a criticism of The Emakoko and as a place to relax in the afternoon it was lovely but just a bit inaccessible!"
