"The Lazizi was very attractive, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter and I arrived around 11:00 pm, after lengthy travel that included 3 flights, and were quite hungry. We were thrilled to learn that the hotel's café was still serving a complete menu at this late hour. The food was quite good, and portions were generous. The next morning we also enjoyed excellent coffee from the café. All in all, the hotel provided a nice welcome for first time travelers to Kenya.

Best of all for exhausted travelers, the hotel was an easy 5 minute drive from the airport."

"Sankara offers a great base for exploring Nairobi. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were able to take advantage of the rooftop pool. The breakfast buffet that came with our room was extensive and well presented."

"We loved the Emakoko. The food was outstanding, and the wines offered (mostly African) were excellent. Our room was beautiful and quite comfortable, with an attractive view of the property from our balcony.

We were amazed at the number and variety of animals we were able to see this close to the city of Nairobi. Our guides were friendly and well informed.

The staff at Emakoko couldn't have been any friendlier, and management went out of their way to help us with travel logistics for a trip back into town."

"We found the Kicheche Bush Camp to be a very special place. From the friendly welcome lemonade to our transport back to the airstrip, everyone went out of their way to make our stay a treat. The food and wine were outstanding, with vegetarian options being a highlight of each meal.

Our tent was attractive and comfortable, with plenty of space even though we had a third cot added for our travel companion. The weather was cool during the evenings, so we all loved that hot water bottles were tucked into our beds.

The variety and number of animals that we were able to see at close range was amazing! Our guide, Micah, was very knowledgeable, patient, and good humored. He seemed to find something new and interesting for us to see with each drive."
