Holiday of a life time
Kenya between 24 May 2018 and 4 Jun 2018
On reflection I probably would not have stayed in the Nairobi area, the game drives did not have the same wow factor as Samburu or Masai Mara but that said the Emakoko lodge was wonderful.
From a logistics point of view everything ran smoothly. This was our first trip to Africa and I felt safe and secure during the entire trip.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
When I first viewed the website I found it slightly overwhelming, as the is almost information overload. However Richard was excellent and I would definitely recommend the company to friends."
Feedback response
We completely agree with this criticism of our website: for travellers who don't know Africa so well, it can be overwhelming.
We're in the process of redesigning our site so that it has as much (and even more) information, but organised much more simply, and thus it should be much better at helping those who aren't so sure about what they want.

"Superb Accommodation "
Elephant Bedroom
"Great safari. "
The game drives were good and we saw an abundance of elephants and giraffes.
The wildlife spotting opportunities in camp were great.
The accommodation was overall excellent, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms/tents superb. My only criticism was the food; perfectly edible but not inspiring."
Little Governors' Camp
"Highly Recommend this camp"
The abundance of wildlife in the Masai Mara is jaw droppingly spectacular. We spent four days here and enjoyed wonderfully diverse game drives.
The camp itself is beautifully laid out overlooking a watering hole which offers an abundance of wildlife at all times. I actually looked out of my tent at night to see a hippo walking past!
The staff were wonderful and Nicholas, the manager arranged for a doctor to supply medication from an insect bite that had become problematic.
Rooms/tents were spacious, clean and comfortable. Hot water always available.
The food here is absolutely stunning, I would highly recommend a stay."
The welcome at the Emakoko was great nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are perfect and the communal areas very welcoming. I cannot rate the food highly enough, fine dining."
