"This hotel served it's purpose. It was clean and modern.

Meal in cafe late at night was expensive."

"Nothing can prepare you for the view that Tortilis camp offers. The dining area faces Kilimanjaro and we were lucky to be able to see the mountain every day (it wasn't shrouded in mist!).

There is a man made watering hole which attracts animals. Our tent was vast with a very comfortable bed. No view of the mountain though.

The food was satisfactory. Usually soup and then a buffet.

We were struck at the variety of terrain in Amboseli from swamp to moon like landscape."

"Ngare Serian is special. From the moment you cross the river over the swing bridge (which is actually quite wobbly and scary!) you know you're entering a special place. It felt like the team here became friends for that short while.

Our guide Steve and his assistant Irene can spot wildlife with X ray eyes.

The food here is outstanding. The tents are vast with outdoor bathrooms.

We spent a night in the camp's new tree house (there was some confusion about this: Serian don't appear to be advertising the new treehouse extensively) I did cross that rope bridge for the last time with a heavy heart."
