"Excellent itinerary and choice of lodges that matched well with our requirements - we appreciated that. Very helpful route map and pack provided ahead of the trip. I have absolutely no complaints on any aspect of the trip and would thoroughly recommend it again! Thank you to Expert Africa.
In the end we did not choose the coastal route up to Torras Bay as most travelers we talked with suggested it got a bit monotonous after a well - but the road was good and outside of rain I think this would have been fine. The worst road during our trip was from Sesriem to Swakop - gravel road very bumpy in parts."

"Very efficient service here from Kulalu as per the usual Wilderness Safaris experience and they accommodated our needs well as this was a quick trip - we did the morning dunes excursion and then had to drive all the way to Swakop in the afternoon."

"Excellent room and facilities at @16 with very nice hosts and in a quiet residential area. Its a bit away from the center of town (well 5 mins drive) and does not offer breakfast or restaurant facilities but there are plenty of food options nearby and it has a small fridge/coffee facilities. Would recommend it again."

"This was a beautifully designed lodge that blended in extremely well with its surroundings and with a fantastic pool. Good excursions to the rock paintings and to the desert elephants."

"We really liked Ongava and as per Wolwedans we really appreciated the back story and the conservation message that went along with the creation of the game reserve. I think this is is important for all the lodges offered by Expert to know how/what the lodge is contributing to either conservation, the community or the conservancy.
The hide down at the waterhole in Ongava Lodge probably gave us the most intimate wildlife experience of our entire trip and we felt was undersold - its incredible to get that close to rhinos!
We organized all our own safaris into Etosha so can't comment on the game drives/excursions."

Incidentally we went walking down to Windhoek town center the day we arrived and were told by the Namibia tourist police to stop walking and go back to our hotel. We sensed someone had been following us. So travelers should be aware of this - particularly on quiet days."
