Mowani Mountain Camp
"Disappointing, poor atmosphere"
Game drive disappointing as much of it in sight of other lodges. When we found elephants they were surrounded by other vehicles. Concerned that drivers hemmed in herd with v young elephants. Saw v little else. Supposed to have two activities but only had one and manager unhelpful. Food good."
Damaraland Camp
"V good guides and camp but wildlife v sparse"
Good guide with good knowledge. Food OK but not great."
Desert Rhino Camp
"Good rhino and elephant sightings but little "
Eventually saw hyena den after pushing repeatedly to go having been told about it by camp manager. Guide v resistant to requests and needed clothes that didn’t show his large belly and private parts when he bent over. Lots of hard driving to get anywhere.
Camp v good and food OK but not startlingly good."
Okonjima Bush Camp
"Superb - great viewing"
Good food and service."
Great trip - arrangements perfect.
