"We only stayed in Pioneer Camp for one night travelling to South Luangwa so hard to really comment much.

Room was very clean and comfortable and friendly staff."

"This was our first ever safari and Tafika exceeded all our expectations. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and introduced us to Safari life by explaining in detail what to expect.

The guiding and game viewing were both spectacular, very knowledgeable guides and plenty wildlife. Although just outside the park in the GMA it is just a very short drive and invariably there were sightings on the drive to and from the park.

Food was really good and the vegetarian in our party was delighted with all the meals, perhaps it helps that Carol is vegetarian.

The accommodation although it may look rustic was very comfortable and private. We particularly liked the outdoor shower.

Would certainly like to go back."

"Situated in the park itself the camp is very close to the game, even with an elephant family passing through camp for lunch. Just minutes into our first drive we found Leopard and they were frequent thereafter. Again the guides and staff were professional and knowledgeable, quite how the guides sometimes spot the animals is amazing.

Accommodation was very comfortable and each chalet has it's own private viewing gallery over the river. Food was again very good with all dietary requirements catered for.

Although most guests were frequent return visitors we were still welcomed as newbies, and will certainly be back ourselves one day"

"We knew this camp was further from the park than those we stayed in at South Luangwa but we had not appreciated how much difference this would make. The game drives were long and often very lacking in game, it sometimes seemed more like a race to each radio sighting. However the camp itself does promote it's river based activities more than the drives.

It is a very friendly and relaxed camp in a beautiful setting, the tented chalet was very warm and comfortable with a private seating area. Elephant and hippo are frequent visitors to the camp day and night but staff are always on hand to keep guests safe.

The food in camp was really good with plenty vegetarian choice. The only issue we had with the catering was the 'bush bbq' which was not a success."

"We choose the Islands specifically to relax at the end of our Safari and get to see the Falls and were not disappointed. The location is ideal, two private islands and treehouse style chalets overlooking the Zambezi and on site massage therapies. Staff were really friendly and attentive at all times. When we arrived we were given plenty advice of available activities and how best to plan them with the staff making all arrangements

Food was good and we particularly enjoyed the surprise lunch and a private island which we had not expected.

Our final sundowner cruise was particularly memorable, very good guide and very relaxing.

Although we were not really expecting game viewing we still managed a view sighting including White Rhino"
