"Great camp in a wonderful location. Enjoyed being next to the river and the boat trips in the evenings gave a whole different perspective.

Our guide, Omari, was very good. He worked out what we were interested in and made sure saw it. Lovely breakfast spots during our morning game drives. A great surprise sundowner by the river on our last night.

Staff were lovely and attentive. Tents clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Appreciated the eco ethos - flasks of cold filtered water provided rather than plastic bottles.

Enjoyed the pool. Overall very relaxing."

"This was a lovely camp – very high end - almost too upmarket for us, perhaps! Wonderful situation on side of a hill with open views from the tents and from the restaurant and pool. Slight drawback was that its location on the hill did mean that there was a 20 minute drive to get to anywhere to see game.

Lovely staff. Mark - the owner - led our first drive which was great. Our guide was very good.

However almost all of the other guests where honeymooners (5 couples at one point!) which didn’t bother us too much, but might be uncomfortable for some travellers. Am sure that this is seasonal…

The food was very very good, and drinks all included so that was appreciated. Very attentive staff. The norm is communal dining (though we were told we could choose to eat separately if we wished. By the end we’d have preferred a separate table, and I suspect that some of the honeymooners might have preferred to dine separately..."

"Accommodation more scruffy and basic than we'd become used to at the safaris, but still clean and acceptable. Staff less forthcoming."

"We had lovely accommodation in the Monsoon Villa suite - cost a fortune but this was the holiday of a lifetime for us. Worked well for a small family. Stunning villa - wonderful rooftop terrace.

Beautiful location. Infinity pool was superb - long enough to get proper exercise, and amazing views from it. Bar, restaurant area very nice and relaxed. You can absolutely relax here. Sea swimming good at high tide, and beach very interseting at low tide when locals are harvesing shells, spear fishing, and managing aquaculture. Quite a lot of people on the beach trying to sell you things - we organised a fun and basic snorkelling trip through one. We'd run low on cash and weren't able to buy things locally which we felt bad about. Very conscious of the cost of our trip in stark contrast with the poverty of the local population...

The office staff were a bit disorganized; the waiting staff were v nice. We ended up eating lunch there every day as there aren’t really any alternative venues really - so we might have done better financially to have gone for full board. The extras for lunch and drinks cost quite a lot.

We had expected to interact more with the other guests as we had on safari, but there was little of this during the four days of our stay."
