"I had a great time at Siwandu.

My main guide, John, was excellent in relation to the birds as well as the mammals. He even managed to find some wild dogs for me.

The location is very good an the room/tent is excellent.

The only complaint about the food was there was a lot of it, so not complaint at all really."

"Ikuka is a superb camp, and what a view across the Ruaha National Park!

My guide, Geoffrey, was excellent, and was particularly good in relation to the birds. He was also happy to stay out a bit longer than usual on my last day, so that we could try and see some new bird species.

We managed to find lions with cubs, five separate leopard sightings, and a couple of wild dog sightings. We also managed to spot some of the more unusual mammals such as bat-eared foxes, Grants gazelle, lesser kudu and klipspringer. In all we managed to find 22 different mammal species.

The Ruaha really is a special place, and probably my favourite place in the whole of Africa. Long may it remain as it is."

"I enjoyed my stay at the the Pongwe Beach Hotel.

It was fairly warm and humid in November so I didn't do very much apart from read, swim in the sea, rest and eat.

But a nice, fairly simple place to stay."

"King Lodge is superbly situated on the Kafue River amongst stunning scenery. It was an extremely relaxing place to stay with plenty to keep those who love Africa interested.

Whilst you won't find the place teeming with big game there is plenty to see, particularly if you are interested in birds. There are also other activities such as kayaking and fishing.

The guides were very good, the food was great and the warm welcome from Gill and Julia, both of whom are great hosts, was appreciated."

"The location of the new Musekese would be difficult to beat, overlooking the drying lagoon. I could sit and watch hordes of antelope and birds, including wattled and crowned cranes, from the veranda of my room.

Lions come to visit on a regular basis and I had some of the best lion sightings in more than 25 years of visiting Africa. Tyrone and Phil run the place as only true enthusiasts could. The food and service was great.

I tried fishing, which was great, and even the final drive to Lusaka was made complete with a herd of Sable antelope - thanks Alec."

"Nxamaseri is a very relaxing place to stay. Add that to the great tiger fishing, bird life and our trip to The Tsodilo Hills and we had a superb time."

"We had an amazing time at Lebala. In particular the wildlife was superb.

We saw some amazing animal behaviour including Cheetah hunting Impala and then chasing a Leopard. The guides were very knowledgeable and commited to finding what we were interested in.

The rooms are about as good as you will find anywhere in Africa."

"Lagoon Camp must be the place to Wild Dogs in Africa. We saw three different packs and some astonishing behaviour - including a face-off with a herd of Elephants. Amazing stuff and I have seen Wild Dogs after almost twenty years of trying."
