My Nov 2007 trip
Botswana and 1 other country between 19 Nov 2007 and 3 Dec 2007
"An excellent holidy which exceeded our expectations. Having been to Kenya/Tanzania we were impressed by the variety of wildlife, including birds that we saw.
Was particulalry impressed with the support and aid given to me in all the camps as I was in a leg plaster. Every effort was made to make me comfortable and see to any needs I required. A big thank you to them all, Lucy included for their care, sympathy and understanding."

"This camp is beautifully situated by the lake. Once again we could see wildlife all around us - elephants and hippos, you couldn't ask for more.
We went on our first wild dog chase at this camp which was so exciting, fortunately we did not see the kill! Just amazing watching these animals pick up a scent and follow their prey to the bitter end. Super game drives: saw large herds of elephants, was mock charged by one; hippos and saw the cats: leopard, lions and cheetahs.
Chard and Doreen who were about to take managership of the camp were wonderful hosts. They are going to make this a super camp. Fortunate enough to see a baby tsesebe being born! Good food once again"

Lagoon Camp
"Lovely Lagoon camp!"

"Another lovely setting, quite serene and picturesque. Staff were very friendly and amusing.
Our first snake encounter - came across a python which was 2 metres long and moved pretty quickly!
Experienced 2 wild dog chases both of which ended in a kill right before our eyes! Exhilirating drive through the bush trying to keep up with them. KB and AT are driver and tracker kept us amused and were very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. This was a great end to our stay in Botswana."

"Good hotel, ideal location for the falls.
Afternoon tea at the Royal Livingstone is a lovely experience, but a must do is the helicopter flight over the falls. Do the 30 minutes rather than 15.
Something to remember, the water levels of the falls is seasonal - Nov/Dec is "low tide"."

There's nothing like being thrown in the deep end when out in the bush and this camp had many surprises. We were entertained and surrounded by wildlife: bats, baboons, vervet monkeys!
Game viewing was excellent - we saw 6 leopards in one day, 3 of which were a mother and her 2 cubs. How adorable!
Food was an excellent standard, I'm sure this was where all the pounds stated to pile on!!! Beautiful setting for all our meals too. A great start to our 3-centre stay in Botswana."
