Back to Zambia afte a long absence
Zambia between 8 Oct 2016 and 24 Oct 2016
What was especially impressive was the way Expert Africa arranged our various transfers to and from the airports. Our arrival at Lusaka where apparently there are often delays was lightened by the person who met us insisting that we join the queue for diplomats in the hope of hastening the the process.
A minor observation on our transfer from the Royal Livingstone to the the Livingstone airport. It may be an idea if Expert Africa used the hotel mini-buses rather than Wild Africa.
The Commissionaire was quite distressed when he could not contact Wild Africa's office by phone; he finally made contact with the driver by radio. There was no delay and we arrived at the airport in good time.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
We really do think that you have a wonderful product and will not hesitate it to our friends.
We were particularly impressed with how wel the segment that we arranged, the hiring of a house in Lusaka, slotted in with the rest of the holiday arranged by Expert Africa.
We would like to thank Expert Africa for sending us a copy of Bradt's Guide of Zambia which we enormously enjoyed reading.
Finally our especial thanks to Lucy Copson who was always at hand to help and who we had the pleasure of meeting at Kiango."

Kaingo Camp
"A really wonderful experience"
The high points of our visit were the rides with Patrick whose knowledge of the wild life was a joy to share .Patrick's ability to get us close to the animals and birds really was wonderful and his understanding of leopard behaviours exceptional.
Our room was spacious and well appointed, our private viewing platform ideally positioned to enjoy the comings and goings of animals along the river bank and in the pools and using our outdoor bath filled with sun warmed water was the perfect way to relax during the hot afternoon.
Everything about this segment of our holiday was perfect, even the drives from the airport to the camp and the return trip were experiences that we relished."

Royal Livingstone Hotel
"Luxury close to the awe inspiring"
We especially enjoyed the dinner menu which had a small, changing selection of carefully thought out and prepared dishes and the chef each evening spent time with us to discuss the food, which we appreciated.
The park in which the hotel was set is beautifuly kept, a green oasis in a parched Zambia awaiting the rains, with easy access to the Falls. Seeing the Falls at this time of the year was really interesting as we could study its geological structure; luckily we have seen it in the past in full spate.
The swimming pool was lovely to look at but not as secluded as the one at the Taj Pamodzi which we preferred using."
The menu was comprehensive and Noah, the concierge was particularly helpful.
Our rating would have been Excellent if we had been warned about just how noisy the hotel's generator was when it was switched on usually late at night. Perhaps our side of the hotel was particularly close to the generator."
