"The camp is located in a remote area overlooking a lovely lagoon which is full of various antelopes and birds. The atmosphere is relaxed and is neither too basic or upmarket.
The guiding was good and we saw a lot of lions and leopards plus a pack of wild dogs. The boat trip on Kafue river was very relaxing, we didn't see any other boats or people, just hippos and birds.
The food was good and healthy although I would have liked a bit more of it such as a dessert at lunch."

"An excellent camp.
The service was good, food tasty and plentiful, and guiding and game viewing very satisfactory. I have no complaints whatsoever.
One of many highlights was watching a herd of elephants drink from a pool of water while we were having lunch."

"This was the last camp I visited on my safari and the best of the lot. The location by the Luangwa river is lovely, the food was healthy and tasty and the guiding and game viewing was fantastic.
I also liked the sense of history with this being the oldest camp in South Luangwa. Game viewing was best ever, leopard trying to hunt puku, lion in stand off with hippo, lion being charged by herd or buffalo, lion stealing a kill from hyenas.
Also saw largest crocodiles eating a hippo. It was action packed to say the least. All this was helped by very enthusiastic and experienced guiding."

My expectations for the lodge weren't that high, I saw it just as somewhere to relax before getting into the bush. However, I was really impressed, the service was good, the views of Kafue River are amazing and the food was tasty and plentiful.
Game viewing was good with two lion sightings and one leopard sighting in two game drives. The tent was very spacious and bed was really comfortable."
