"A lovely camp in an idyllic location on the river. Only downside is the distance from Livingstone as if you arrive in the afternoon and want to go to Victoria Falls the next day it is 3 quite long and dull car journeys on the trot - it may be better to go to Victoria Falls before going on to Siankaba if you are flying in to Livingstone if that is possible?

Birdwatching is quite interesting but if i had gone to Botswana first it would have been a real let down. Much better to do this at the start rather than at the end of a trip."

"Outstanding. We were lucky enough to be on our own rather than in a foursome but i would unhesitatingly recommend this. It worked very well at the start as it gave you a much greater sense of being part of the bush rather than an outsider looking in. Even in the current heat the walks are not exerting.

Situation not helped by a south african guide stepping in and literally ruining everyone's day so had to switch guides - his behaviour was completely unacceptable not least to our guide and tracker.

Food was pretty bad but we had been spoilt elsewhere.

Would rather have gone elsewhere."

"A really lovely camp that made you very welcome from the start. Very good service.

The guide and tracker - Moro and John - were outstanding tracking a family of cheetah for over 2 hours. This resulted in us then seeing the cheetah hunt and kill the next day. The heronry boat trip was excellent as was the mokoro with the hippos (albeit a bit hair raising!)

The food was only so-so but they were trying their best and better than the average. I would heartily recommend this camp.

Only downsides were the tents were hot in the middle of the day but it was 45 degrees!"
