A wonderful safari in Zambia
Zambia between 29 Aug 2016 and 9 Sep 2016
"Amazing. Our first safari so difficult to have expectations, but they would have been exceeded.
Expert Africa very helpful in helping us decide on the holiday and in making all the arrangements. Megan Ingoldby started the dialogue before she went off on maternity leave.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
No. Keep doing it. We will be recommending you!"

Tena Tena
"Wild dog chase a high spot!"
2 nights
Arrived
2 Sep 2016
"Tena Tena a very good complement in the South Luangwa national park to Tafika. The drive there from Tafika was itself a great game drive.
The staff/guest ratio is anyway lower and was exacerbated by absences and guest transfers. After initially saying we would have to forego our planned walk and go on a mass drive, Nyambe took our concern on board and re-made the arrangements so we could go with him on a walk, which turned out to be great. A good response once he saw our reaction.
Lots of wildlife. High point was watching sleeping wild dogs, then waking, bonding, walking out line abreast and chasing after puku with us following at speed. A parade of lions at night another high spot."

Potato Bush Camp
"Wildlife and the Zambezi river"
4 nights
Arrived
4 Sep 2016
"Potato Bush camp is at the luxury end. We had a wonderful room and were pampered. During our four nights' stay we had the place to ourselves!
Charles, an excellent guide, was called away after 1 1/2 days to Lusaka for family reasons and Henry from the neighbouring (same ownership) Sausage Tree camp became our principal guide, ably assisted by Ryan.
The huge river is an amazing feature. Masses of elephants, including wading across to the islands. With ample water to wallow in better tempered hippos than in the fast drying out Luangwa river, where they were competing for territory. We enjoyed the canoe ride and all the walks and drives. Surprise lunch one day with toes in the water and bush dinner one evening. Nathan an outstanding cook. Carol as hostess, Stephen as barman and Richard as personal butler all attended to our every need."

Great drives and walks with masses of wildlife and grerat guides. Good to visit local village - which they strongly support - by bike with John Coppinger. All the hosting - accommodation, food, introductions, logistics etc. - first class. Brian and Heather a strength as well as the Coppinger family. Amon, Stephen and Moffat first class guides.
My bag never made it through from London via Jo'burg to Lusaka. My wife's arrived fine! Mike of Tours Africa managed to get hold of mine and Tafika kindly picked it up a couple of days later at Mfuwe and handed it to me."
