Tanzania Honeymoon

"We had the most amazing honeymoon on Safari at Azura Selous, followed by some much needed R&R in Zanzibar. Everything was fantastic.
Azura was wonderful - see my review separately for that if you want more details. Expert Africa were great and did everything we could have asked for. I'm sure if you book at trip with Expert Africa, you can't fail to have a great time.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Keep up the good work! Many thanks!"

The hosts Karen and Jason were welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly and did everything you'd want and more, including organising a number of lovely 'surprises'... The staff were also very attentive and the food excellent - I have no bad words to say! Finally, our guide Koboko was simply fantastic. An incredible person, who is so enthusiastic about what he does. His knowledge and skills were unbelievable and he'll do his best to accommodate everything you want to do and see.
This was our first safari, and we thought the wildlife viewing was spectacular. We saw a really wide range of animals and were delighted with everything. Certainly the wildlife around the camp is sparser than further afield, so the all day drive is a must, as you'll see so much on this day. However, as the wildlife around the camp was sparser, it made us appreciate some of the smaller, and maybe overlooked wildlife. If you're surrounded by elephants all day, you don't notice the birds, and the plants, and the less well known wildlife. You'll also enjoy learning to track the animals (even if you don't end up finding them!), and you'll see plenty of other things along the way.
The camp also arrange alternatives to the drives, such as boat trips, fishing, and a walking safari, which are definitely worth doing. We were also lucky to be joined for dinner by one night by George the elephant, and had evening drinks interrupted by a lion on another!"
