Okavango July 2016
Botswana between 21 Jul 2016 and 1 Aug 2016
Needless to say, the Okavango Delta, the camps, the game, and the people all surpassed our expectations.
We had a fantastic holiday, and will definitely be back."

Machaba Camp
"Great place to start a safari"

Motswiri Camp, Botswana (this camp has since closed)
"Beautiful, beautiful Motswiri"
The food was excellent, accompanied by friendly staff and great guides, who aren't shy of singing a song or two (which inspired the title of this review)! The hot water system and shower were the best we experienced.
The room was really comfortable, although some of the bed linen was a little tired, with a few small holes. This didn't affect our enjoyment, but may matter to others.
We'd definitely recommend Motswiri for a different safari experience."

Selinda Adventure Trail, Botswana (this camp has since closed)
"The Selinda Adventure Trail is amazing"
The staff do a brilliant job of setting up the camps, making everything incredibly comfortable, and run smoothly. The food cooked over an open fire was unbelievable, particularly the steak on the last night. The tents and bedding are great, and we always slept very well after a day on the water and a hearty dinner.
We would strongly recommend this trip to anyone who is considering it."

Kwara Camp
"Kwara Camp review"
The staff at the camp are really friendly and do a geat job. The food is also excellent. It may just have been when were there, but this camp had the greatest range of guest ages, with more families than at other camps.
The rooms are very comfortable, and the gas-heated hot water works really well. Some of the furnishings are getting a bit tired (e.g. superficial cracks in the sink) but it did not affect our enjoyment or comfort at all.
We would heartily recommend Kwara!"
The camp is run as a very slick operation, with good staff and guides. The rooms are very comfortable, although the shower was not as good as some of the other places we stayed. The food was very tasty and incredibly plentiful!
The only downside to Machaba for us was that it felt a little more "corporate" than some of the more relaxed camps."
