My Aug 2015 trip
Kenya between 11 Aug 2015 and 26 Aug 2015
"Expert Africa were very professional and managed to organise a magical trip to Kenya for 2 families.
One family had never been to Africa before - so seeing anything "wild" on safari was very exciting. The other family has spent numerous holidays in Africa - but that still does not take away the splendour of seeing it all again and having the chance to meet interesting like minded people from all around the world.
I would highly recommend using Expert Africa as they made the trip run very smoothly."

"Stayed in August and it was out of this world for people wanting to experience a small camp and where seeing wildlife has to be worked for and therefore really enjoyed. (ie there are no other vans radioing each other) Stayed with another family (4 adults and 4 teenagers in total) We occupied 4 tents - all very tastefully decorated and very private. There is a water hole in front of the main tent - this was frequented by lots of animals.
Service was truly outstanding - bent over backwards to make this a very memorable safari. They made the most beautiful birthday cake for our son and sang and danced for him! Very touching.
The camp prides itself of it's low impact on the surrounding environment - and does a good job at using solar power and hot 'bucket' showers.
Kids were taken in their own safari truck and adults in another. The highlights have to be that when ever we saw any game we were the only trucks to see it. We were able to meet Sudan - the last remaining male Northern Rhino and his few female friends. Also visited the chimp sanctuary - this does feel a little out of place in this part of Africa - but does good work in rehabilitating chimps. We also had the "pleasure" of seeing Max the chimp work his "magic" on the crowd!! You have been WARNED!
Special touches (surprises) were added to each safari.
I could not recommend this place highly enough - go before there are no Northern Rhinos left in the world!"

We had stepped back in time - rooms (new wing) were large, clean. Bathrooms functioned with adequate hot water.
The bar served cold beers and stories from pilots and NGO workers. Staff were more than helpful.
Breakfast was a traditional English fry up and had a lovely view of planes landing and taking off.
This HAS to be the place for you to stay if you have an early morning flight from Wilson - it saves you hours being stuck in traffic.
If you are looking for 5* this is not for you - but if you want to know how Africa felt in the 1950's this is the place to stay.
We had no worries about security as the Aero Club is set within the Wilson Airport security fencing."
