"We had a wonderful holiday which we enjoyed tremendously - other than the visa concern mentioned at the start the only other thing which It would have been good to know is that tipping is standard and the daily rate per day guide in dollars would have been useful for us to know - also that a general tip to staff is normally given as well - this would give you a chance to have the right amount of cash in hand - as there is nowhere in most of the camps to get any cash - we fortunately had just about enough in various currencies to do this but it was a concern as we had not anticipated this ( probably it being our first time doing this type of trip)"

"we had a fantastic time here - staff were just excellent - we loved celebrating Botswana day with the staff having dinner in the bush - they went to enormous trouble to make it special and even had us all up dancing and singing with them. - I will never forget Little Kwara.
In fact on our visit to the village there we met a young boy about 11 or 12 - He impressed me greatly and I would like to keep in contact with him - perhaps you could help me make contact - He had great ambitions - I would like to ensure he succeeds.
Wild life viewing was superb and the staff were fantastic."

Little Mombo
"wild life paradise at Little Mombo"

"As we were the only guests at Little Mombo it was a little bit over the top having the staff waiting on us alone but we did enjoy it. It felt more like a hotel than a lodge - it was nice meeting the guests from the other Mombo camp on the superb picnic lunch laid on for us as a surprise and the last night bar b que - again felt a bit like a resort entertainment but was enjoyable.
The rampaging elephant at breakfast was an interesting experience! Our guide was the best guide we had all holiday - we did see all the wildlife and more - he was superb. loved all the tracking etc.
Unfortunately Ian was ill on the last day following the bar-b-que night so we were unable to go out on the drive - in fact it took him a good 5 days to recover!"

Overall the Islands of Siankaba was superb - the location is wonderful - staff excellent and we absolutely loved the whole place - would recommend it to anyone."
