"We had a brilliant stay at Ras Kutani - it was the perfect place to relax after the long flight. We had a great welcome and attention during the stay. Perfect balance of your own space and being looked after.

Not too many guests when we visited so it was very peaceful and the stretch of beach was quiet. Food was excellent and we had a nice range of meals - including dinner on the beach which was such a nice honeymoon experience."

"Its hard to put it in words how incredible our Beho Beho experience was. Everything was so detailed and well thought out and seamlessly delivered.

The guides were so knowledgeable and the lodge's 'family' ethos meant that we got to know the guides really well (dining with them before and/or after safaris). Little surprises made us feel very special and a night in the tree house is a must. Food was stunning and it was great eating in different locations. The banda accommodation was also very high standard. Highly recommended."

"The hotel was friendly and quirky because of its history. We were only in Stone Town for one night so this suited us fine.

Good location near the sea front and a short walk to the main attractions."

"We loved our stay on this brilliant little eco island and liked the fact that it was a marine protected area and the money spent there went to preserving the island and educating local communities.

Really friendly staff and homecooked style food. Accommodation was so well thought out and really made use of the surroundings. Snorkelling activities were great and the reef stunning - it was great that they had evening talks about the project and the reef etc."

"Incredible accommodation and a luxury experience having our own butler - who was really nice and attentive. As we were on honeymoon we spent most of the time at the retreat as we wanted some seclusion on the last part of our honeymoon.

Sometimes the food was excellent and sometimes quite average. It is a bit more resorty when you do go down to the main area and it is a bit of a walk. We were encouraged to join other guests for one night down at the restaurant, where the food unfortunately wasnt that great. The views from our place were fantastic.

We did a nice snorkelling trip (although the coral wasnt a vibrant as Chumbe) and were luck enough to come across dolphin (a wonderful experience). Overall a great stay."
