"City Lodge is handy since it is a short walk from the main areas of OR Tambo airport.
Rooms are well equiped and clean, although not always quiet.
The restaurant is excelent. Breakfast is lush and the menu for lunch/dinner has innovative, healthy and tasty options.
Reception is efficient, but not really friendly."

"We stayed at Tofo Beach for a week. It is easy to get there, a short direct flight from Joburg. The diving is rough, the rubber boats launch from the beach and the surf is not always calm.

But... oh ! it is worth it. The whale sharks are swimming close by (sometimes just a short 20-30 min boat ride). There are several of them together and they really do not care about snorkelers around. A true close encounter.

The scuba diving in Tofo is also good - we met a few mantas at one of the cleaning stations.

We stayed at a very charming simple "pousada" called Casa na Praia. It is worth it and the owner, Andrea, is just great."

"Azura Benguerra was one memorable experience. Although we've been around on beach and dive resorts and hotels around the world, Azura is beyond any expectations we could have.

It combines a very special, almost empty pristine beach, superior quality accomodations, a staff that is genuinely worried about you and how well you are you being treated, feeling, etc etc with a great 5 star diving operation. It is a rare combination to find nowadays. You can get great resorts, but in very developed áreas, or prístine beaches and diving with very basic comfort and service. It is rare to find all in one place. And Azura offers it, combine to the gentleness of the island staff - so helpful it never ceases amazing us...

We were there a couple of months ago, and I already want to go back !"
