Kwara Camp
"Kwara Camp review"
Mr G our guide and KT our tracker were excellent and very accommodating. They worked effortlessly together and were amazing at tracking predators. Mr G and the staff made our stay special in creative ways by setting up a surprise lunch on a boat and private dinner in our room.
Room quality was good as the camp had been renovated in 2019, equiped with air conditioning, hot showers, etc. The pool area overlooking a lagoon was also well put together with sun beds and a cabin with a well stocked fridge. Staff was well trained and food was delicious - all meals and bush coffee/sundowners nibbles were all quite excellent. Mr G, KT and all the staff went the extra mile to make the overall stay special.
The ample amount of animal activity was extremely memorable but what will make us come back are the warm and sincere demeanor of the Kwara team."

The camp staff were very good and attentive. room showed some signs of age but generally clean, although bugs inevitably had come in during turn down.
lunches and dinners were tasty and fresh to our satisfaction, and the staff came up with creative ways to make each meal feel special/different - for example we enjoyed one of our lunches up on the swimming pool deck and one dinner at the deck of our tent although there were so many bugs for us to really enjoy the meal properly! bush breakfast/sundowners were less of a highlight as nibbles weren't as great as the meals back at the camp but not a big deal.
overall I'd emphasize that Carlos made a big difference with his tracking skills and animal knowledge in game viewing as if it wasn't for him, we could have left Duba somewhat disappointed about the general level of animal activity."
