"Excellent all-round. Great location, access to the garden route.

First class service and guiding was expert, fantastic, couldn't have been better. Opportunities to fish, go on the lake along with game drives meant it was never dull. There was just 4 of us in the truck so very comfortable, also we never felt like there were many other vehicles so the experience felt very personal.

Food and drink is exceptional and bountiful. Everything was taken care of so it was a great start to a trip after a long flight. Plenty of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes etc without it feeling like a small reserve - we had to find them."

"Location was excellent for whale watching, we watched them several times from our room. Staff very helpful booking restaurants/with luggage etc.

Rooms getting a little tired but clean. About a 10 minute walk from town, so it can feel a bit lonely walking home at night."

"Great spot, a short walk from everything in camps bay and a perfect location for exploring Cape Town without being in the thick of it. hotel and service was first class. Immaculately clean and extras such as free mini bar, DVDs etc were a nice touch. Staff were really welcoming and helpful with taxis, luggage, drinks etc. Pool is a really nice spot away from the beach.

Slight niggle on the 'sea view' - the hotel is not on the front but set back and cornered by two large fairly ugly buildings so there is no clear view of the sea from any of the rooms - you have to look between the two buildings."
