Great country - great trip
Zambia between 18 Jun 2014 and 24 Jun 2014
"My trip was a very pleasant acquaintance with Zambia. I visited Livingstone, town and Victoria Falls, first and then went on safari in South Luangwa, known as one of the most beautiful parks of Africa.
Zambia is a nice country between the east and south of Africa, the country itself is beautiful, people are very friendly and it is a good place to travel.
Expert Africa arranged the safari part of my trip; professionally and quickly - when needed in a weekend - and I am very glad I found them on my way."

Tena Tena
"Tena Tena review"

"Tena tena camp is described as one of the most beautiful camps in South Luangwa. The Bradt guide book on Zambia is right about that. It is a remote tented camp, basic on one hand and luxurious on the other hand. Camp manager Bertrame and his team are not only friendly and welcoming but have also high experience in the field they are operating and guiding is of top level here.
This camp attracts people that look for a place without any fuss and being far away from everything in the bush. Well that is what you get. Beautiful days (and nightdrives), driving, walking, lots of animals and sharing your stories in the evening with other guests, staff and guides during joint (carefully and well prepared) meals.
There are different areas you can visit: bush, woodland and (salt) plains, even a village stay if required. The beautiful South Luangwa river is leading during most of your trips as lots of animals can be found here. But you do not only visit South Luangwa for the animals as one guest pointed out: you come here for the bush, the remote place itself, seeing animals is a bonus! And so it is."

Dining together of visitors, guides and staff makes a nice mix of people and stories from all over the world.
Being on safari here you will meet no people from other camps which means you are completely alone in the bush, at least I was. Guiding is done with expertise and very pleasant. You can choose between walking and driving, also night drives are made and they are very special.
I saw lions and leopards with cubs, elephants, giraffes, lot of birds and all kind of antelopes.
The team of Expert Africa is not too keen on this camp as I read in their own review, I think it is time for a new perspective and hope they pay the camp another visit. I am happy to have been here and would like to visit again if possible. Thanks Lion Camp for the pleasant stay.
