South Luanga Trip 2014
Zambia between 4 May 2014 and 10 May 2014
"We had a delay at the start of our trip when the BA flight had to return to London with engine trouble. This delay meant that we missed the SA flight from Johannesburg and the flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe. BA put us up in London and rebooked the SA portion for the following day and we very pleased with their response.
Eleanor kindly looked into getting us to Flatdogs but our friends who had arrived safely in Lusaka were able to arrange a private charter to Mfuwe for us with Sky Trails who we rate very highly.
We were delighted with the remainder of our trip and really enjoyed the two very different experiences at the camps. Cannot fault either place.

I honestly don't think so! It was very reassuring to be able to contact Expert Africa swiftly and for your attention. Although we managed to find a flight we appreciated your help. thanks to you all yet again. I do hope we will be back."

"An experience of all that is"

"This place is wonderful, it's location gives one an idea of all that is truly wild in Africa. We were lucky to arrive at the start of the season and had the place almost to ourselves. Except that is, for the lovely staff who are a credit to the family owners.
John and Carol had to be at a Trade Fair for much of our stay but we were left in the capable hands of Heather, Rhona and their daughter Jenny. It leaves you feeling that you have been guests in a family home which is very special. We were lucky enough to see five leopards and enjoyed our game walk with Alex which involved a python appearing as we stopped to look at a bird's nest on the ground. The night drives are fabulous and new to us and they extend the number of sightings to nocturnal animals. Our guide was very knowledgeable and as delighted as we were with our large animal sightings and not forgetting the smallest elephant shrew and chameleon.
It was lovely to have our delicious meals with members of the family and staff and were most impressed with the food especially the salad and vegetables grown on the site. One meal was interrupted by a hippo taking out some of the newly erected fence around the compound!
We would be very happy to return one day and look forward to doing just that."

It begins with their welcome on your arrival and thereafter each time at the end of game drives and ends when sadly you wave goodby. We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was lovely and the food delicious.
Our guide Robbie, for game drives was superb and so knowledgeable; he was a delight to listen to and gave many incites to the behaviour of the animals. The swimming pool was a bonus after a hot and dusty drive. All in all we loved it."
