"Comfortable hotel to relax and acclimatise to Africa after overnight flight from London. A great pool with views onto the sea - the kids loved it!

Also a good beach side restaurant next to the hotel to have an evening meal at."

"As a family with 10 and 12 year old children - our stay at Lake Manzi exceeded all expectations. The guiding was exceptional and very friendly - and we all became mesmerised by all that we saw - Any concern that I might have had that the kids might get bored was lost and after 4 days they wanted to stay longer!

The camp was incredibly comfortable - and the open lounge/eating area was a wonderful place to hang out and watch elephants, baboons and all manner of other wildlife wander and meander by. As a vegetarian family we were looked after really well - the food was superb and plenty of it - and the communal eating style enabled all of us to exchange stories of what we saw with other guests."

"We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at the Sunshine Marine Lodge. The quality of the accommodation and service was excellent - and the food also very good.

The location and views from the balcony over the ocean and Mnemwe island were spectacular! Our 2 children learnt to dive at the specialist diving centre at the lodge - and we all went out to beautiful coral reef where we snorkelled and the kids dived. We all felt totally rested after our visit!"

"We loved our stay at the Zanzibar Coffee House! It oozed style and atmosphere - great rooms (our connecting rooms were perfect for our family) - great cafe at the bottom - and an amazing roof top veranda to enjoy breakfast and take a rest from the hustle and bustle of Stone Town.

The coffee served was top notch - "The best!" according to Anne, who is a coffee aficionado."
