Feedback response
In addition to the feedback, above, this traveller expressed misgivings about and issue concerning the order in which guests and staff were served during meal times. We have followed these comments up in considerable detail.
We’re very grateful to her for the further details that she gave us, as it has enabled the MD of the camps to investigate what happened in this case, and also to re-affirm Kwando’s clear guidelines on the issue for all of their camps.

Kwara Camp
"Unbelievable KWARA"
3 nights
Arrived
15 Mar 2009
"We were SO lucky at Kwara we enjoyed game viewing far beyond our wildest expectations . We had an excellent guide in Bally whose keen eyes spotted so much . BJ our tracker kept us laughing and joking . What a team they were. Who would expect to see Cheetahs and cubs, Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Wild Dogs, along with Zeebra, Giraffe, Elephant, Kudu, Tessebe, Impala, Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Hippo, Baboons, Warthogs, Crocodiles, Snakes and all manner of birds ALL IN THE SAME DAY----------- Amazing!!
This was a very happy, established and well run camp, we just loved it and Tuso and Janet made us feel so welcome.
We shall return!!"

Xakanaxa

"This camp had a certain sadness about it, due to the fact that the previous managers had just left due to the ill health of Flo.
Our guide had been in his present job for over 20 years and lacked some of the enthusiasm of the guides at the previous camps, however the game viewing was excellent, the highlights being Lionesses with their young, a pride of 12 lions,E lephants, Buffalo, Hippo and Zebra all with their young.
The food here was exceptional as were the rooms and laundry facilities. We enjoyed the plunge pool and the wonderful river aspect. A lovely, lovely setting with great facilities. A great camp run by lovely Lettie and her fantastic cooks.
The guides were more reserved than at previous camps and didn`t initiate conversation with guests."

Rooms - we had the family room which was spacious and well equipped but we found it poorly lit and the hand basin were far too small and more water went on the floor than in the basin. the beds were also too high unless you were over 5" 10" tall !
Service- was always with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
Food- good quality nicely presented.
Activities- Alberto our guide and Scoupa our tracker were both excellent, informative ,friendly and happy to answer all our many questions. Being inside the CKGR limits opportunities to track wildlife "off road " so a guides good eyes and binoculars are essential.
This is a brand new camp and will improve when the waterhole is filled and animals start to use it in the dry season."
