"Very attractive camp and well run by a couple - Phil and Tricia. Food was good considering the location.

Game drives hard work as the land was so dry many of the animals had moved away. River and lake trips were excellent for birds."

"Very much the 'older' sister of the 2 camps - in need of a bit of refurbishment and a lick of paint. Mary the manager was a very pleasant person but had no managerial or organisational skills and consequently many things were nothing like as slick as at Lake Manze. They had my allergy information plus a picture form that I took out but I was still given quiche for lunch and nothing in addition (eg second sausage etc) to compensate for the fact that I could not eat the hard boiled egg allocated on the bush breakfast each day.

Carole and I were given a junior guide with a novice driver - not a good combination and consequently not a totally unsatisfactory and disappointing game drive, the guide admitted he did not know the birds but also forgot to take any identification guides with him!! We insisted on an alternative guide, which was provided for subsequent game drives and he was very good."

"Wonderful location. Excellent for a couple of days to unwind and relax - a long way from anywhere else.

They also had the allergy advice but the waiter was overruled by the chef when he gave him my order for plain chicken skewers and plain rice and served me chicken and green pepper skewers, with rice and mixed peppers served in half a green pepper!!!!!!!! Male owner came across and thought it was funny - when I was a bit upset and annoyed he just laughed and said 'These things happen' , but they shouldn't and needn't have happened. Ellese(?) was most upset the following day and gave assurances that it would not happen again and didn't understand how or why the chef had contradicted or ignored my request for plain/ non-pepper food.

Everything else, including future meals, was lovely and very enjoyable."
