"We were here for only one night, so didn't see much, however the hotel was lovely and the hotel restaurant was great. The only disappointing thing was that we were not given a sea view room as booked/promised."

"This lodge was a great start for us as it was perfectly located between Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crater so we didn't need to change accommodation between the game drives, and the trip to each game drive was not long at all.

It was lovely to see the villages, and stop at a few shops along the way. Unfortunately our room did not have electricity for the first 2 nights, so we were then upgraded to a suite for our last night which was beautiful - We wish the situation was resolved after the first night though as trying to get ready in the dark at 6am is not fun at all!

Food at this lodge was always excellent, and the service was good even though the staff were not as friendly as other places we stayed at in Tanzania.

The pool area appeared to be lovely, however during our stay, there was a family of 8 which took up all of the sunbeds every day, so we were unable to relax by the pool during our stay. Other reviewers warned us to check our bill properly before leaving, and we're glad we did as we were charged for a bottle of wine that we did not have!"

"Staying at Sayari was the highlight of our honeymoon! We had a fantastic 3 days here, and were so lucky to see so many animals including all of the big 5!

The staff are super friendly, the food was always great and the place couldn't be more picturesque. This is the perfect place to stay to be surrounded by animals in luxurious accommodations - there was an elephant drinking from the pool one morning, and animals around our tent every night. Since it was my first trip on Safari, I did wish that on arrival we were given a better talk on safety and how to act around the animals (just to feel more prepared) as I was rather worried whenever I needed to walk to my tent from the dining areas (around 5mins).

The camp offers daily laundry service, however I don't recommend it If you have good clothes, as I was extremely disappointed when all of my white clothes were returned with blue patches that don't come out!

Overall however, this was a fantastic experience all round, that I would recommend to anyone!"

"This is a great resort to unwind and relax after safari.

The sand is like flour and even though we were there during high season, the beach was virtually empty. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very comfortable and just steps from the beach. Through reception you can book various activities (snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, massages etc).

The only negative about this place was the food - since it is run by an Italian I was expecting a lot better and unfortunately it was sometimes inedible."
