My Aug 2013 trip
Botswana and 1 other country between 17 Aug 2013 and 28 Aug 2013
"Everyone enjoyed the trip enormously. We are able to compare with both South Africa (the Kruger National Park) and Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara). The wildlife viewing experiences were hugely more pleasant [Ed: Here in Botswana!] because of the fewer numbers viewing the game. This meant that it was easy to get up close and your enjoyment wasn't impacted by crowding out by others. The standard of accommodation was massively better than we had in Tanzania, but that was down to the budget allocated to the trip.
The organisation of the day (which was the same in each of the camps) seemed good and designed to make the most of potential wildlife sightings.
The density of wildlife is probably not greater [Ed: in Botswana] than Tanzania (especially Ngorngoro) but the viewing much more enjoyable.
Perhaps one small criticism would be a lack of variety between the three different camps, although they were selected to give us a variation, in reality the differences between them were really fairly insignificant. If we were doing something similar in the future we would certainly ensure the different locations all offered something quite different.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Not really, the organisation and logistics were all excellent.
We met people who had booked with other agencies and then found your website afterwards and said that it was much more informative than what they had seen previously.
A small point, we visited Zambia and i changed some money which i probably didn't really need to do, and now I can't get anyone to change it back. It might be worth drawing this to the attention of customers. Small local tips can all be paid in dollars."

"This was the first of three camps we visited and proved to be an excellent start. We spent two night here and enjoyed it enormously. Our guide was good, bit difficult to tell with the tracker as he was quite a quiet individual.
Wildlife viewing was very good and a great variety on offer."

Lagoon Camp

"This was the nicest of the three camps, with the best rooms and location. Having a hippo emerge from the water and walk past your bedroom door at 3.30 in the afternoon isn't something that happens every day.
Guide and tracker were both excellent.
Wildlife variety and viewing also excellent."

Kwara Camp
"Kwara Camp review"
4 nights

"We spent the longest time here (4 nights versus 2 nights at each of the other two camps). This camp is probably a bit older and it shows particularly against Lagoon. I think if we hadn't seen the others we may have thought this was excellent too!
The staff were extremely friendly and not put out by elephants constantly damaging the camp in the night.
Guide and tracker probably also the best, but that may be because we spent most time with them and forged the strongest relationship. All the guides asked what we wanted to get out of the game drives."

Slight negative for poor waiter service at dinner. Good attention on initially taking your order, but then descends into chaos as the restaurant gets busier.
Bit pricey for the quality on offer."
