A holiday i will never forget
Namibia between 21 Sep 2013 and 7 Oct 2013
There is so much space, game, sun, fun, it would be easy to write a book about it!
It will be hard to better this holiday.

Ondudu Safari Lodge
"Erongo Wilderness Lodge review"
Lovely sundowner and early morning walks with the guides were great fun, and we learnt a lot."

Onguma Bush Camp
"Onguma Bush Camp review"
We took the night drive and the guides worked hard to make sure we saw plenty of game, including two Cheetahs , two lionesses and two cubs. Well placed for driving into Etosha as the main gate is very close but very luxurious to come back to in the evening."

Okaukuejo Camp
"Okaukuejo Camp review"
Having said that, the chalet was fine, and its really all about the waterhole, which was excellent. overall we were pleasantly surprised as we had read so much bad feedback. But the chalet was clean, the food was OK, and people were quiet at the waterhole. We would recommend a night here."

Etendeka Mountain Camp
"Genuine wilderness with style at Etendeka"
There are only 10 tents, so the number of guests is very limited. The eating arrangements are in the main tent, where there is a single long table around which a long entertaining dinner makes a perfect end to each day.
The game drive we went on was amazing - after more 4X4 driving, we came to a green valley with a permanent spring. And loads of game, including desert adapted elephants. I can't believe that we spent a whole morning looking at rocks, and Bonnie had us all completely spellbound on the geology of the area - how did he do that!!
The whole thing is brilliantly run by Dennis and Bonnie, the best hosts in the whole of our journey (and the others were all pretty good too)"

Doro Nawas
"Friendly team at Doro Nawas"

We took a kayaking trip with the seals, and then a long trip down to Sandwich harbour for lunch. Brilliant trip, and the lunch was memorable."

"A relaxing last stop at the end of the trip"
The tame meerkat is a star"
Close enough to the centre of town, but in a residential area. The rooms were very comfortable."
