My Feb 2013 trip
Zanzibar between 7 Feb 2013 and 16 Feb 2013
"Trip was great, all connections and reservations were carried out seamlessly and on time. One miscommunication on a side tour was corrected to our satisfaction. Eco and Culture transfer vehicles and drivers were excellent, safe, and on time.
It's unfortunate that the local people don't take more effort to keep the trash cleaned up. Plastic bags should be banned as they are in Rwanda. Southern part of the island is cleaner, more green and tropical looking, and a little less humid."

"nice place. Centrally located in Stonetown, so its easy to walk anywhere. Room was clean, large and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of old world ambiance. Incense at bedtime was a nice touch. Air conditioning at night was a relief for us cold climate people. Pool and courtyard are very nice."

"Centrally located on the beach so it's easy to walk to most attractions and restaurants.
Breakfast on the veranda is relaxing. Pool water is too hot to be refreshing, but well maintained. Evening beachside meals are excellent. Air conditioning at night was a relief.
Hosts are helpful and gracious. Rooms are average, but then you'll only use it for sleeping."

"Gorgeous place with wonderful hosts and impeccably trained staff.
Fabulous food, friendly atmosphere, relaxed environment. Designed to be a part of natural surroundings, "bungalows" are more like private homes than hotel rooms. Elies and staff don't miss anything. Village tour was very informative.
Dolphin outing was fun but not sustainable. It should be more regulated so the dolphins are not so disrupted."
