Expert Africa forwarded these travellers' comments to Wilderness Safaris, who own and run Doro Nawas, and who apologised for the dirty pool. It would seem that on the day in question there was a very strong wind - when the wind blows properly out there it is quite something. Unfortunately, the maintenance team did not check the pool and nor did the managers. There had been sand and natural debris blown in to the pool. The management of the camp is hugely apologetic and have noted it as something to always keep an eye on. They thank the travellers for pointing out the problem, which allows them to ensure they are constantly checking this area in future. Both the maintenance team and management have been addressed on this issue.
