Excellent holiday
Tanzania between 16 Aug 2018 and 31 Aug 2018
"Really excellent holiday.....only small problem was nobody met us at Dar domestic terminal to take us to the International terminal so we had to get a taxi after waiting to see if anyone came for us.
The arrangements from when we started discussions with Freddie to our return home were excellent and we can’t wait for another safari holiday in two years time.
This was our sixth safari holiday and just about the best."

"Beautiful location high on a hill overlooking the park in all directions. Rooms were superb, food excellent and staff well trained and very attentive. We had an excellent guide, Reuben, who looked after us every day.
The drives were very good, centred mainly on the closest river, albeit mainly dry, where there was quite a diversity of animals. We did venture further afield, again with reasonably good results .
Worth mentioning to clients that, due to altitude, the early mornings are cold and the blankets they supply just about kept the cold out, but a jersey would be useful. Mealtimes excellent with communal eating for all meals at which the management staff joined us too."

"Beautiful facility with excellent food with an Italian influence. Manager Alex was very good as were the well trained staff. The rooms were very good only let down by mosquitos getting inside the bednetting and getting extensively bitten. Could be cured by earlier lowering of the nets before dusk I think.
The grounds were excellent but swimming in the sea not really viable due to lack of depth.
Representative from the local dive centre visited every evening at 7 pm to advise on potential activities in the following day. We went to see turtles hatching on another island and also visited two villages on tours, just ourselves and a guide... most interesting."

The game drives were excellent, hospitality unbeatable and the Banda was all that was needed and more.
Saw good amount of game highlighted by a pack of dogs enjoying a kill. Not enormous amount of varied game but most of what we wanted to see.
The standard of the food was truly amazing and the location of eating places at the lodge were many and varied....we all sat on a communal table with some of the guides."
