Tafika
"Couldn't be better!"

Chiawa Camp
"Beautiful Chiawa!"
Stewart was helpful when I discovered a mistake with my Zambian visa (later corrected), and the rest of the staff were delightful. The surprise dinner at Bedrock was a real treat. I can't say enough about this piece of paradise!"

Old Mondoro Bushcamp
"Luxury in the Bush"
Again, we had a surprise lunch in the bush, with gorgeous food.(How do they do it?) Staff, accommodation, atmosphere-----top marks!"

Royal Livingstone Hotel
"Royal Livingstone Hotel"
The hotel was heavenly, from the hand massages offered to us at check-in, to the comfy beds and generous breakfasts. The Falls are practically on your doorstep, and the view from the hotel's deck is magical! But watch out for the monkeys which appear out of nowhere when nibbles are served with your drinks! Hilarious!"

Eight Reedbuck Hotel, Zambia (this camp has since closed)
"Eight Reedbuck hotel"
We were able to order a late dinner, seemingly after the kitchen was closed. And breakfast trays were brought to our rooms the night before. However, the bathroom needed some work, like a showerhead and better lighting, and the bedroom carpet needed replacing. But the room was spacious and quiet."

The microlight flight at sunrise, the staff, the setting on the riverbank, the gorgeous chalets, the beautiful food, the game drives, the walking safari with Bryan......just could not have been better! The visit to the local school was a very emotional event for us. And we even had one of the camp's cats share our bed, which we loved!
We only wish we could've stayed longer."
