Saile Tented Camp, Botswana (this camp has since closed)
"Saile Tented Camp review"
Dennis our guide was excellent but the terrain hampers driving and with no spotter even at night the guide has his hands full. High spots were wild dogs and a huge herd of zebra. Bird life was good and elephants plentiful. The boat ride on the water was a disappointment and possibly oversold in the write up."

Kwara Camp
"Kwara Camp review"
Because camp life is focused on the game drives there is a slightly regimented feel about the regime. Food was average in conception and execution and suffered from great variability in times of arrival back at camp. One serving only and food would be kept out and exposed for periods if one group arrived back later than others."

Islands of Siankaba
"Islands of Siankaba review"
Victoria Falls were worth the visit though we went at the lowest point of the year fro flow. It might be worth crossing to view from Zambia at this time of year.
Highlight was the village walk and especially the time with Malindi (who was also with us for dinner one night) at the voluntary funded pre-school was inspirational. There was an unfortunate but important contrast when we visited the underfunded state primary school which lacked the same energetic leadership."
The staff were fantastic and food was very good. They came up trumps for Jean's birthday with champagne and cake at no additional cost. Fishing was from small boats was also very good with five out six of us catching good size fish."
