"The ideal place to view the Falls which are spectacular even in low water season (late August) perhaps even more so in a different way."

Tubu Tree Camp

"This was our first camp and we found the facilities even more luxurious and well maintained than we expected.
The service was very friendly and the managers made an effort to introduce and get the visitors together. The guide (forgot his name) was excellent and we saw a good variety of animals and birds. The mokoro ride to the pool of hippos was memorable."

Selinda Camp
"A great camp where we had unusually good game"

"The camp facilities were luxurious, tasteful, well kept. The food was outstanding as it was at Tubu. The gift shop had beautiful local craft.
We had an outstanding guide (Kops) who made it possible for us to watch a remarkable scene of an approach of a cheetah to make a kill of a kurdu, followed by an approach of a leopard, a confrontation between the 2 cats, and the ultimate triumph of the leopard to take over the kill while the cheetah watched and finally backed off. The 2 of the other 3 afternoon game drives were also exciting and wonderful.
However, the 3 morning game drives a woman insisted on finding a pack of wild dogs to the exclusion of any other game viewing. We sped past zebras, giraffs and elephants bouncing uncomfortably through the bush in the vain search for her obsession. She intimidated the guide and we were too inexperienced and polite to object. To avoid further futile searches for wild dogs we opted for a short boat ride, which John, the Manager was kind enough to arrange, which turned out to have its own spectacular animal viewing. John is a particularly good manager who accommodated us and others in any way that he could.
We later discussed the problem of a domineering individual on a grame ride and suggested that he announce when guests arrive that the viewing and trip preferences have to be fairly shared by all. We suggest that this be established as a general camp policy for all camps."

"A great camp, could not be better."

"The camp was well run, superb service and food like the others. The manager, Lucy was exceptional, a fascinating, intelligent individual and a wonderful conversationalist creating a warm atmosphere among the guests.
The guide, Ebs, was the best among the good guides leading to the siting of lion families with their cubs and other reat scenes. His long experience as a guide and his sensitivity to animal behavior, as well as our widhes, led to the possibility of watching complex animal interactions, instead of quick photography and rushing off to the next scene.
The artistic taste of the camp owner was evident in the beautiful art which devorated the camp."

"An excellent b&b with all the luxuries you need, a very accommodating host and staff, excellent breakfast and very helpful in making reservations including travel arrangements.
Its location at the base of Table Mountain, out of the hubub of the city, is to be recomended for those that like to avoid its noise and activities. It's easy enough to go to the center by cab.
It is interesting to note that the "tents", or more like private cottages, of the Botswana Camps were even more luxurious."
