"Very good guides - we had Mokili (young but very well qualified, especially for birding) and Khalid driver. We loved having a vehicle all to ourselves.

Choice of food, private table and waiter. Good river safari. The main animals seemed to be situated closer to Lake Manze. Laundry was included, which was very useful. Fan was appreciated. Good en suite. Staff all excellent."

"We were warned hotel facilities would be "a drop" from Impala. Boat Safari was brilliant. Vehicle safaris had good sightings and access but 6 people per vehicle is at least 2 too many!

People need to be warned that they need to sort out their unpacking/organisation as soon as they arrive, after you come back from safari it is dark and, in our case, the hurricane lamp inside the tent had not been lit (it should have been lit) and the batteries in the torch were low, this made our first night difficult. Unpacking and showering by 2 candles was not easy. The staff need to be sure to light the lamps and/or check they are lit before they leave you. Laundry was not included, nor drinks.

The communal dining was good but needed more illumination."

"Guides brilliant, food good.

No water safari and we missed having a fan. It was cooler at night than Selous and this was most welcome, however we would have aappreciated a fan in the middle of the day and really needed one. It was really good having everything included, including drinks and laundry."

"Some difficulty with on-line check-in, locating where and how to do it in the hotel.

Eventually we went to Kearsley's office on the mezzanine level (not the hotel desk who looked at us blankly)."
