AWESOME TRIP
Tanzania and 1 other country between 18 Jul 2012 and 5 Aug 2012
For the most part, everything ran smoothly. Transfers were on time, reservations were all correct. Only hiccup was at Kati Kati, where we were directed to three different camps before finding the correct one. Other than that the trip was truly amazing. Each place knew we were on our honeymoon and did special little things for us.
Nomad Tanzania, and especially our guide, Cornelius, were amazing. Made our trip so much better than we could have expected. Will be recommending an African trip, Maruska, Nomad, and Expert Africa to all our our friends and families.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge
"Very nice time at Rhotia."
We did have a great morning at the Children's Home, playing soccer and spending time with the children.
Nice honeymoon presentation on our bed.
Overall, great service, great location, and great food."

Lake Masek Tented Camp
"AWESOME."
We had a private walk down to see the hippos in the morning with a staff member and two Maasai guards with spears.
We heard the hyenas and lions at night outside our tent. Wish we could have stayed another night but we were on our way further north."

Kati Kati Camp
"Stopping point in Central Serengeti"
Sort of plopped in the middle of the forest without any views. Dinner and breakfast were good, but the tent was the least nice of our trip. Hanging light bulb in the middle of the room, no mosquito nets despite being in Tsetse territory. HUGE rat in our room at night despite double checking the tent for points of entry/exit. Would look for different accommodations if doing the trip again."

Nomad Serengeti Safari Camp
"Amazing camp and safari"
Tent was amazing...luxurious and rustic, felt like we could have been on Safari with Teddy Roosevelt. Woke up each morning with a view of zebra, wildebeest, baboons, eland, gazelle, etc. Free drinks and time around the campfire each night, and community dinners with the other guests...which was a very nice experience after more than a week just eating with the two of us.
Staff was amazing, food was great, and the safari was spectacular...drove right through the wildebeest migration, and had lunch surrounded 360 by wildebeests and zebras. GREAT place to end our safari. Can't say enough good things about Nomad Tanzania."

Emerson Spice
"Beautiful Place"
Free internet, and a great breakfast on their rooftop restaurant. Good service and staff was very friendly."

Chumbe Island Lodge
"CHUMBE IS AWESOME"
The food was great, especially the lunches, with fresh seafood every meal. Dinner was outside, which was a little windy, but still excellent.
Great staff from the waitresses to the guides, and overall a must-visit for at least two nights."

Pongwe Beach Hotel
"Great, private beach resort."
Had fun at the bar/lounge before dinner where the bushbabies visit the bar each night for a snack. Food was great, no repeated meals for 5 days and they were all top-notch. Maximum of 33 guest on the whole beach, was very quiet and private."
They missed our wake-up call by an hour, and we were scrambling around with breakfast, packing, and meeting our guide on time in the morning."
