We hope to return!
Namibia between 30 Sep 2012 and 14 Oct 2012
Arranged By Sabina Hekandjo

Haus Sonneneck
"Great place to start your trip"

Desert Homestead
"Fab location"
The Soussesvlei guide, Vilo, was excellent.
I'm afraid the stereotype of Germans bagging the sunbeds all day with towels was confirmed! Get in quick if you're planning a lazy spell by the pool.
The bathrooms didn't bother us - you can always go outside."

Central Guest House, Namibia (this camp has since closed)
"Very helpful staff"

Twyfelfontein Country Lodge
"Three nights possibly too long"
It would be really useful if there was more information on the trips offered. We were interested in desert elephants but when we asked, the staff member said it was 50-50 as to whether you saw them so we didn't sign up. They were not at all encouraging. We subsequently found out that people saw them each time. A record of what and when would have helped our decision - we were very disappointed we made the wrong decision."

Okaukuejo Camp
"Best waterhole"
The food was fine and staff worked really hard to keep up with the buffet. Some guests behaved pretty badly, grabbing food and plates."

Halali Camp
"fabulous camp"
The waterhole could be a bit of a walk for some people."

Mushara Bush Camp
"Mushara Bush Camp - a bit 'controlled' for us"

Elegant Farmstead
The only downside was that it cost £20 (return) to take a taxi to anywhere within Windhoek (to eat, to pick up the car)."
