My Mar 2012 trip
Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 21 Mar 2012 and 25 Mar 2012
"was pleased with trip. spending a afternoon at Victoria Falls was enough time. unless you are interested in helicopter rides, bunge cord jumping or other such activities, half a day is plenty to view the falls. be ready to get wet, it is part of the experience. Mack Air was fun.
Flying in small planes is an excellent way to see the delta. All connections were timely except Air Botswana. If you think the big carries are bad, once you wait for 3 hours for an Air Botswana plane in the Maun International airport, they look good.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
keep encouraging people to ready all your literature. reading as you go along or after the fact makes you wish you read it before visiting.
you might considered including ponchos in the package you give to people visiting Victoria Falls. We paid two dollars for thin, throw away ones. I expect they cost pennies. I am all for local people hustling to make money but it might be a nice advertising gimick for you folks."

"nice facility. liked the tent style accommodations. don't be concerned, the tents weathered a rain storm we experienced just fine. trade-off, somewhat confining, couldn't move outside after dark because camp is open to wild animals but you are surrounded by nature. not problem since by the time dinner is over in the evening, you are ready to retire.
like the fact the camp is trying to reduce water bottle waste by furnishing plenty of treated water. would encourage the owners to expand conservation efforts, reduce laundry, reduce room cleaning. believe that doing so would not reduce quality of rooms or service.
the game drives were good. seemed more natural than the ones in Kruger. did not see lions or leopards. the mokoro trip was good."

food was good. while emphasis was on luxury, food was not gourmet. walk to falls was pleasant. be aware that you will get wet visiting the falls. a poncho is a must. expert Africa might consider including one in the package of material it sends customers. while supporting locals is nice gesture, you feel you are getting overcharged by the locals."
