"We only stayed one night and so cannot really comment too much. The room was very nice and the staff in general very pleasant. However, the bell boy who carried up our cases insisted on more of a tip which obviously we didn't like.

The setting of the hotel is excellent, pool very good and we had a nice evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the sea."

"The luxury tents were excellent - very comfortable and clean with all the facilitiies necessary.

The whole camp was inkeeping with the surroundings and used wherever possible local materials etc.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave everyone personal attention.

The guides were enthusiastic and knowlegeable.

The quality of the food and the varied menu was excellent.

Unfortunately when it came to paying our drinks bill the waiters had added on drinks after we had signed the respective bill each night. It was very obvious on one occasion because they had used a different pen! The management have to ensure that the waiters put a line to the bottom of the bill for us to sign. The waiter didn't argue when we complained about the final total. He just made the necessary changes."

"The location of the hotel is great - very central - with everything on your doostep. Beautiful design. Very nice too to have a pool.

The room was very small but clean. The furniture is inkeeping with the hotel which is lovely but there is nowhere to store clothes - just a couple of hangers. We also thought that it was a bit mean not to provide fresh bottled drinking water each day.

The staff in general were friendly and helpful but our wakeup call was late.

The breakfast is adequate but nothing to write home about. Very nice though to eat up on the roof-top.

Having visited the Tembo Hotel too - but I can't remeber the difference in cost - I think that we would have prefered the Tembo but we didn't see any of the rooms."

"The setting of the hotel is superb and the bungalows and other facilities are excellent.

It is a very romantic setting and ideal for a lazy beach end to a busy holiday.

Service was excellent and the staff most friendly and helpful. The food was great and the management outstanding."
