"Very nice welcome by Julius and his team to this well set up lodge .Great walks down to river with birds and hippo plus zebra,ostrich and eland in reserve which can be viewed on way in / out

Rooms very comfortable and delightful shaded terrace

Swimming pool not very enticing as in very shady spot .Service excellent but food rather average"

"Amazing lodge - very well managed with outstanding guides / drvivers

Saw cheetah plus cubs twice , lion , hyena plus cubs , elephant and baby elephant , most antelope inc rare to see tsitatunga and one or two giraffe .Numerous birds .

Night drives excellent and saw numerous hippo plus rare civet and hyena and jackal .... plus the night sky

Power boat / fishing trip good but makoro not very interesting as reeds too high to see anything

Rooms were very well appointed and well serviced including laundry

Food was good but rather short of staff for its service"

"Spectacular location on river with elephant and warthog around camp on river .

Guiding / tracking / driving excellent eg following a wild dog hunt .Birds in quanity with particularly eagles / owls .Game wise saw leopard , elephant , croc , hippo , giraffe and most antelope ( particularly waterbuck )A highlight was wild dogs with 12 puppies.Game however was less abundant than at Shinde and guide needed to work hard

Dinner was excellent food / service wise with lovely outside big table .Also they did surprise bush lunch for our party only which was a great treat . Breakfast was however less interesting / rather basic

Makoro trip was very good on beautiful river and bush walk was very interesting .However night drive not very fruitful.

Tents were well appointed with good aspect to river - laundry good . Very nice swimming pool by river with fairly warm water .

Internet connection was poor / frustrating"

"Really outstanding large suite with balconies looking towards falls .Very good location in walking distance falls / shops / restaurants

The included river trip on Raikane was excellent - small boat with drinks / canapés at sunset with knowledgable captain

Also bought their afternoon game trip to Livingston & Stanley reserve where we saw black rhino plus numerous giraffe

Breakfast excellent as was dinner with good service

Checkout surprisingly was somewhat bureaucratic / lengthy"
