"The atmosphere, service, food, and facilities were excellent. The location is a bit too far from downtown Windhoek to allow for shopping.

"This was designed as a stop to break up a very long drive and it served its purpose. The rooms are tired and the A/C didn't work.

"Everything about the Fish River Lodge was spectacular - it matched the view perfectly. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the veranda of your chalet located on the edge of the canyon should not be missed.

"Eagle's Nest was a beautiful remote location. We really appreciated having a self-contained unit with its own kitchen. Having a BBQ under the stars and choosing a wine from the well-stocked wine rack (in the room) was a real treat. The service at the main lodge was exceptionally friendly.

"Wolvedans lived up to its reputation. It is an incredible place to stay. Food was lovely, staff was friendly and the rooms were out of this world.

Wolvedans encourages mingling among the guests, including sitting at a large family-style table for evening meals and participating in group activities. Opting out of some of these group activities is possible but not readily offered by Wolvedans. If you wish to have a quiet evening meal on your terrace, you must ask for it."
